Friends of the Middle Branch

Thursday, May 29th, 6pm to 8pm @ the Family Health Centers of Baltimore (631
Cherry Hill Road)

The Middle Branch Master Plan recommends the creation of a Friends group for
the area's parks.  The structure of this group and the issues that it
tackles will ultimately be up to the stakeholders in the Middle Branch area,
so your input is needed!  

Light refreshments will be available.

The Police Department has Adopted the Unit Block of East Heath Street.  This
block will receive extra attention from the police and other city agencies.

BARCS Spring Yard Sale

Sunday, June 1st from 7am to 2pm @ the Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care
Shelter (301 Stockholm Street)

Please help BARCS continue its mission to help homeless and neglected
animals.  Raffle tickets and refreshments available for sale with all
proceeds going to the support of BARCS.

Citizens on Patrol is an easy way to meet your neighbors and tour the
neighborhood - and help clean up the neighborhood.  Many city service
requests are precipitated by C.O.P. walks.

Bryan Peterson

Deadly Cargo to Roll On in South Baltimore

Resident Bryan Peterson, who is coordinating the SBIC Race Street Task
Force, is featured in a Baltimore Sun article about the hazardous cargo
being transported on the CSX railways in our neighborhood.
