Many unique shops and charming galleries will stay open from 8 pm to 12
midnight, many offering progressive discounts and free refreshments, for
your shopping therapy and revival.

Bike Tour

Saturday, May 24th, 5pm to 8pm @ the corner of Light and Wells

Come see the arsenic covered ballfields of Swann Park, the world's only
waterfront Wal-Mart at the Port Covington Invisible Strip Mall, the wilds of
Reed Bird Island at the mouth of the Patapsco, and the Lost City of
Masonville.  These four under-visited park sites along Baltimore's Middle
Branch Basin will provide stopping points along this tour of the shifting
environmental, political, economic and cultural currents in South Baltimore.

Friends of the Middle Branch

Thursday, May 29th, 6pm to 8pm @ the Family Health Centers of Baltimore (631
Cherry Hill Road)

The Middle Branch Master Plan recommends the creation of a Friends group for
the area's parks.  The structure of this group and the issues that it
tackles will ultimately be up to the stakeholders in the Middle Branch area,
so your input is needed!  

Light refreshments will be available.

Heath Street Block Party

Saturday, May 31st, noon to 4pm @ the Unit Block of East Heath Street

The Police Department has Adopted the Unit Block of East Heath Street.  This
block will receive extra attention from the police and other city agencies.

The neighborhood association is selling reduced-price tickets to the May
28th game against the Yankees and the August 20th game against the Red Sox.
